Travel co-ordinator at Incredible Spiti
- Adept in English – email writing and drafting itineraries. If you know Excel it will be a bonus.
- Loves photography and travel – create a database of images for the company
- Excellent at multitasking – handle social media, work with other hotels for bookings and coordinate on transport from time to time
Other than the usual skills- we are looking for someone who is committed to work with us long term. Someone who is done with the usual city hustle and wants to make a permanent move to the mountains. Do remember – moving to the mountains is not all it is cracked up to be. Other that the work you do, here are no malls and theatres, no Amazon deliveries and very few like minded people to hang out with. Work is not 9-5, as this is the travel sector and you will be expected to be available most times, some days will be slow and some so hectic that you will not have time to do anything else – it is an out of the box work profile only for some special, strong-willed people.
Position – Full Time
Location – Spiti Valley! from April till October & remote working for the rest of the year
Experience – 2-3 years preferable
Accountant at Incredible Spiti, Sakya Abode & Cafe Piti
- Hands on experience with Tally
- Has prior work experience in an Accounts Department or CA Firm with minimum for 2-3 years
- Should have good computer knowledge of using excel
- Good in multi-tasking skills
- Working with Travel company/ Hotel background is a plus
The person will be responsible for
- Book keeping and journal entries for multiple companies all Spiti based
- GST and other return filing
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable & Billing
- Handling Outward/Inward Remittance for Tour Packages, Hotel bookings, Car Rental, Sightseeing
- Aggressive email and phone follow-up with the Vendor & Client
- Knowledge of TDS Submission and return
